Important PSA Submission Update for Australian Customers
Due to newly introduced tariff regulations announced, PSA has temporarily paused acceptance of grading submissions from customers located outside the United States, including Australia. This pause specifically affects new submissions and does not impact orders already received by PSA.
What Does This Mean for Australian Collectors?
-
Current Orders:
If your cards are already with PSA in the United States, they are unaffected. These submissions will continue to be processed as normal and returned to you as usual. -
Future Orders:
New submissions from Australia to PSA are currently paused until further notice. PSA is actively working on solutions to resume submissions through authorised dealers, including our team at Slabd.
As an officially authorised PSA dealer here in Australia, we’re in close communication with PSA and monitoring developments. PSA is committed to finding solutions that allow international collectors to continue submitting cards without the financial burden of heavy tariff costs.
Here’s the official statement from PSA:
“We are currently working on solutions to allow our PSA customers outside of the United States, Japan, and Canada to continue submitting via PSA Authorised Dealers. We will soon provide updates on the resumption of submissions for customers impacted globally, as we are working on solutions in real time.”
What’s Next?
We understand this is frustrating news for our community. Our priority is to minimise disruption to your submissions. We’re committed to transparency and will communicate all updates from PSA regarding the resolution of these tariff issues and the resumption of submissions.
What if I’ve recently submitted cards to Slabd for grading?
If you’ve submitted cards to Slabd over the past few weeks for PSA grading, rest assured your cards are safe and secure with us. Due to PSA’s current pause on accepting submissions from outside the U.S., we will temporarily hold these submissions until PSA provides further guidance. As soon as PSA announces their updated process or solution for authorised Australian dealers, we will proceed with sending all pending orders. We will keep you fully informed every step of the way.
We appreciate your understanding, patience, and support as we navigate this temporary situation.
