Progress update for your [service_title] order (#00[service_order_id]) – hang in there!
Hi [first_name],
We are writting to let you know your [str_item] for order (#00[service_order_id]) [str_is_are] still in queue at PSA. We understand it’s been a long time and that your order has elapsed the estimated turnaround time, but unfortunately PSA do not guarantee the turnaround times.
The demand for card grading has significantly increased during a period where there are heavy lockdowns and restrictions in California which in turn has increased the turnaround times. The delay caused form this is being experienced worldwide.
PSA have recently expanded their offices and ramped up hiring and training to cope with the demand. But unfortunately, new hires doesn’t mean instant graders – it can take up to 6 months for training to complete. PSA have a FIFO (first in, first out) system and they are working through all submissions in the order they were received in the category they were received in. Rest assured our orders are still in queue, however, there currently is no ETA. An important note to remember is PSA have not changed the way they grade cards to cope with the demand either, so each card is still graded by two separate graders, compared, then reviewed by a third grader and if there are discrepancies then the card needs to be reviewed again.
